Ramira is
a daughter of the world-famous stallion Ramiro. Ramiro was born in 1965 in
the stables of the German breeder Paul Bahlmann. Ramiro Z was an excellent
sporthorse ridden by Fritz Ligges and almost every studbook has a
descendant of Ramiro in their files. Ramiro is a combination of Ramzes x
and Cottage Son xx and
Logenschlieser. More than anybody else he has left his mark. And, not only in
the jumping sport but also in dressage you can find his offspring, like
the legendary mare Fatinitza who was victorious with Fritz Ligges and
afterwards with Thomas Frühmann and who became the mother of the Z-stallion Almiro Z.
Last but certainly not least we have to refer to Ratina Z, one of the best
mares ever who competed at the highest level, with on her record Olympic
medals and a world cup in 1992. In 1995 Ramiro died en he got the
appropriate honorary titel ‘Stallion of the Century’.

Ramira's
mother, Zarin VIII is also the mother of the performance mare Calordia
Z (v. Capilenz) and of the international jumping horse Oswin (v. Holland). Holsteiner stamm 2067
contains except of Oswin himself also the approved stallions Lactic (v. Landmeister),
Athletic Lord (v. Athlet Z),
Cristino (v. Caretino), Aconito (v. Acorado I), Corvalon (v. Corofino I) but
also the stallion Canturano (v. Canturo) and Con Spirito R (v. Contender)
and Carthano
(v. Contender) and numerous international jumpers like Con Caletto (USA),
Landstreicher (Duitsland) and some young talents like Magic Fox (3rd place
Bundeschampionat 6 years) and many others.
Ramira
herself, is in appearance is a real Ramiro-daughter. Large, long lined
with a beautiful expressive head, she combines in her pedigree the best
sires of Holstein: Ramiro x Lord. Three excellent movements emphasize her
correct exterior, always an appearance wherever she turns up.
